Traditional British soup recipes – Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall

I’m a huge fan of soups, in fact one of my favourites remains Dutch Bruine-bonen soep met Rook-worst, even after having left Holland over 12 years ago.  (Brown bean soup with traditional Dutch smoked sausage – the nearest to this that I’ve found here in the US is a Polish Kielbasa).

Will be trying the thick pea and ham soup recipe forthwith (more likely fifthwith actually, given how busy we are at the moment) and will report back with the results. As aways, we will make some changes because of the my dodgy ticker, while attempting not to sacrifice any flavour.
